Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Crexa uses, what they do, and how you control them.

1. Your choice

The first time you visit Crexa you are asked to accept or reject non-essential cookies. Your choice is stored on your own device (as a first-party cookie named crexa_cookie_consent and in your browser's local storage) and is remembered for up to one year.

  • Reject — only essential cookies are used. Our analytics script is not loaded at all.
  • Accept — essential cookies plus the analytics described in section 3.

You can change your mind at any time by clearing cookies and site data for crexa.io in your browser, which makes the banner appear again.

2. Essential cookies

These are always used because the site cannot work without them. They are not used for advertising.

  • Authentication — keeps you signed in and protects your session (set by our authentication provider, Supabase).
  • Consent — records your cookie choice, so we don't ask on every page.
  • Security and abuse prevention — short-lived values used to protect sign-up, payments and payouts from fraud.
  • Payments — Stripe sets cookies on its own payment pages and scripts when you fund a campaign or set up payouts. See Stripe's own privacy documentation.

3. Analytics (non-essential — only after you accept)

If, and only if, you accept cookies, we load Tinybird Analytics (script file ~flock.js). It is served from our own domain (first-party proxied), so no request goes to a third-party analytics domain from your browser.

For each page view it records:

  • the page path on crexa.io,
  • the referring URL,
  • your browser's user-agent string,
  • a country derived from your connection,
  • a timestamp, and
  • a session identifier stored in a cookie that expires when your browsing session ends (a session cookie).

We use this to count page views and understand which pages are used. It is not used to build an advertising profile, is not sold, and is not shared with advertising networks.

4. What we do not use

We do not use advertising cookies, ad retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking that follows you to other websites.

5. Browser controls

Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you from signing in or making payments.
